Anyone catching any trout at Horsetail lately? Looking to possibly head out there this weekend.

I think the trout lakes are closed to fishing for another month or so. Usually stocked early March, then won't open until early April. There's odd programs in between like kids trout fishing, catch and release fly fishing. Look at the ILDNR website or Cook County forest preserve for the specifics.

Maybe. Season starts 4/1. Not looking to keep. Just catch. Thanks!
