I got that fish finder for christmas and i think it is kind of cool. the only question i have is: Does the green thing need a battery to work? I put it in my bathtub and i put my had under it and it came out to be a fish. so i will give it a seven on a scale to ten

the battery on the sonar unit is not replaceable. once it's dead, you have to buy another sonar unit for $30 bucks. other than that, i think it's a cool gadget for fishing.

i HAD one of those, was really cool for the first 6 months, but on one trip the display got all scrambled. Its pretty obnoxious looking too.
