Today i went to BPS in bolingbrook and got the Shimano Compre 7'0'' M power XF Action

I will put my Shimano Symetre on it.
1 spool with 12lb XPS fluorocarbon
1 spool with 10lb Fireline

I can't wait to use it

I have a Shimano Compre 6' 6" med light which is probably my favorite rod! Nice choice.

I don't have a Compre, but I do have a Symetre reel and like it a lot.

You won't be disappointed...Great rod for the $$

I have Pretty much the same rod (mines a little shorter) and it has a good balance of backbone and sensitivity. I also love the little cut-out in the handle that allows for direct contact with the rod blank.
