ever on a plain hook with nothing but a split shot weight today. little 9incher but its usually the gills that are responsible for doing that. Hah anyone else ever done this...?
Hey congratulations! I remember when I caught my first bass on a black senko, I was so excited I immediately returned him into the water and from that moment on I just wanted to catch more bass. Once again, congrats!
actually, i think he means his first bass on a bare hook, not his first bass ever. i don't think i have ever caught a fish on a bare hook, though i have never thrown a bare hook either.
no deff not my first bass ever. but yeah first on a bare hook is the point i was getting to. my worm fell off and then when i tryed reeling in nothing but the hook... a bass took it.
I have seen it twice with a bass. Once on a plain jig and once on a shiny treble while catfishing. When a bass is hungry I guess it does not matter if you are using a hot dog
