I don't ice fish but like to keep up with the reports. Last week a guy went in at Geneva, so if you are thinking of heading out, take that into consideration. There is also still plenty of open water out there with some nice walleye and pike being caught by the boaters.

Delavan has better ice on it, but not many people are venturing too far out of the inlet by the public launch. Fishing has been reported as spotty with murky water clarity under the ice.

Hope this helps any of you that are thinking of going out. I'll be warming up near my fireplace until Spring

Thanks Jason. The opener in May is right around the corner. My buddy and I are going up to Delavan Saturday morning and staying until Monday afternoon. It should be a great trip :D
