Can someone post some ice conditions? Ponds out here in Streamwood look pretty ugly with bad shorelines... Can only figure that the larger lakes held up better... Looking for a spot to set up some flags on Monday (Yep, I get Presidents day off!)... Wrench, gimme a holler if you are game... Thinkin' about 8:30 or 9am for a few hours...

currently we have from 8 to 13" of ice on channel lake
with some open spots as well ,could have a hard time getting a shanty on the lake about a foot of soft ice or open water around the shoreline .

pistakee lake doesnt look good ( see below )

smaller lakes are averaging between 6 and 10 " with open water on shores ,opposite direction of prevailing wind

Mike, ice conditions are good on most area's around here, but some lakes will need a Plank to get on the ice. I will hit ya up.
