Has anyone ever tryed ice fishing for Walleye on Busse lake? If so any tips or past experiences would be greatly apreciated.I feel like i might be crazy for even attempting it but i got the walleye blues really bad so any advice would be cool.
now is the time, but i do not recommend going to busse on the ice alone at all. The creek channel will thaw out fast, you wont notice it on top, but it will thaw underneath from water levels and flow. I have seen this many times before. if you do go. fish the south pool, you can be safe there but not many walleyes to be caught unless if a in a direct area. Get a lake map and look for a deep hole in the south pool. go from there
