I'm guessing by lack of responses with 135 views, no. Personally, I'd never heard of them before your post.

Good luck finding more info.

in reply: Ice rods? Most of my 100's of fish caught ice fishing were on $5 to $10 poles fully equiped. Ice fishing is the best fishing of the year to catch trophy pics or keepers for food.Find the right spot and you can catch Walleye after Walleye around sunset;not to mention the tons of panfish. Use 10-20lbs line or braid tipped with a 1-2lbs leader and the smallest ice jigs to hold the bait you're using.Jig,jig, jig;but, softly every 3-5 minutes.Hand augars go for $20-$40 bucks.Gas augars are a waist in Illinois. They scare alot of fish too. A shantee is a good investment. Right Now, most ice gear is selling at season-end close-out prices around here(especially if you want a $40 rod for $10(combo). Good-Luck!
