Went out and got some Musky and bass lures, Trixxers, zooms, chug-bugs, a bunch of x-raps. Storm 10.5" jointed and non jointed musky baits, some suffix live. A small bag and pouch and etc stuff. I was just at dicks last night and spent 64 bucks and at dicks 2 nights ago and spent 70 bucks and just bought Novacks Revo off him... I gotta slow down. I am running outta storage. half of my shit from laast year and the year before are in big rubber maid containers still in the package. I think I need Fishermans Anonamous. Cause damn is it addicting!!! I think I have a fishing shopping habbit. not to mention i boght a Fenwick rod just for the hell of it as well  . I should have gotten a loomis or Croix instead. I am not a big fan of Fenwick...

Heres some pics of todays purchase. thgouth I would put it up since im bored...

some day I will lay out all my tackle rods reels, line, lures, boxes, etc and take a pic. I have 3 sets of waders dammit and was looking to buy another pait today. Someone please help me!!!!

It just keeps adding up!!!

I have doubles ands triples of some musly lures in same colors from last year. I might sell some and take a loss. you never know. but that hard to do.

Had to edit my grammar. I am beat, been up since 5am.

Dave,
I'm with ya. I was cleaning my boat and organizing my tackle yesterday and I came to the realization that I could fish for years without ever running out of tackle. Then I went to Dick's last night and bought some 10" worms since Berkley products were on sale!

You could be spending the money on worse things. Take it easy. Paul

Yea I bought some berkely products from dicks as well...

I can't wait to try out the Trixxies. But 6 bucks for 4 trailers!!!! I will have to see how it works. My buddy must have bought 30 packs of them... LOL Never go shopping after hitting the water. You think of new tricks to try while shopping... lol. grab n walk, grab and walk, grab n walk. That's what it comes down to. I speed shop too, not checking prices half the time, That's my only problem. :?

I hear ya Dave. I just dropped some good coin on another big chatterbait order. Also went to Gander last night for boat oil which is a whopping 45 bucks now. I few years ago I was finding it for under $30  Of course I had to pick up a LuckyCraft or two as well. Have those things gone up to? I remember getting them there for under $15 and now they are $17.99  It sucks that the economy goes in the crapper yet the price of goods just keeps getting higher.

There is a Dick's Coupon that is open to all fishing equipment and other things in the store. I use them all the time. The coupon is 10 of 25. Makes you feel better when buying new stuff.

This coupon is a couches coupon. I just print them up in color and never had a problem. Just send me a message and I can send you the file.

Does going to BPS and/or Gander 3-4 times per week, spending $30-$40 each time get me into this club? That is no joke! Sometimes, when I don't have enough time to travel to get my fix in at Gander or BPS, I'll go to Dicks, and pick up something. I cannot, absolutely cannot, walk out of a fishing store without buying something...

Couple the above with larger purchases monthly, when I get my rewards points from my BPS visa......and I now have almost 30 rod / reel combos, and counting.... My goal is to never have to tie on a different bait, just pick up a different rod...

It's a sickness, there is no known cure, and anyone afflicted WILL die from complications resulting from this disease......

You know it's bad when you have a separate credit card JUST for tackle purchases that your significant other doesn't know about.......

I have to hide my tackle from her like I hide my porn........

Ya know its bad when you put your new unopened stuff on ebay...
(Looked good at the time, or bought too many...)

So we can pile up $ to buy new gear.

JayPee, Like they say at Alcoholics Annonymous.

Its a 12 step program

1st step is addmitting your a tackle junkie.

2nd Come to think a Power greater than buying Tackle can restore us to Sanity.

3rd Turned around and understood why we buy tackle we already have or will never use.

4th Made a search on why we buy so much tackle among ourselves.

5th Admitting to god and Nature and other Beings of our Tackle Habbits and Sneaky purchases.

6th We are ready to have God Remove those lures from our box and on our rods.

7th Humbly ask him to remove the Short fish for a big Fish.

8th Made a List of all the fish we have Harmed and have willing to Make amends with a great release. 8)

9th Would forgive for fishing a bedding bass.

10th Continued to keep purchasing lures when we knew we were wrong and already have more than 5 of of the same color size and pattern.

11th Sought Through Bass and Fishing Medication to improve our techniques and stick to what we have. Praying for the Power of the Bass and that Power only!

12th Having had a Spiritual awakening as the results of these steps. We tried and will carry this message to other Tackle Junkies and to Practice the principles of Catch and Release.

I was bored....

And these sales don't make things easier either. I mean the 15% of Tackle Warehouse orders over Memorial Day- there's another $50 gone and now Cabela's sent me an email for 0% financing for a year on all purchases over $200- Like I even need to think about that one. The whole "I save money from not smoking and I rarely go out anymore" justification is starting to run a little thin.

I know what you mean besides the smoking. 150 bucks spents is not bad at all. I have had many times I walk in and walk out spending 4-500 bucks at times. That has slowed down though... I have a new tool box to pay for and a new air compressor before I start dumping more cash into fishing. Plus I need to fix my 4 wheeler since i flipped her and broke a few things. I wish money grew on trees! :x
