Hey everyone

Looking to go over to Jackson Park, been looking at the google map overhead. It looks like the yacht harbor, and the connected south lagoon should hold some bass, but I was not sure where fishing would be permitted. I know a lot of harbors try and keep people away from the boats. I was just hoping people might have some advice on where I could fish without incident (other than pulling up monster bass after monster bass ofcourse).

Thanks

Welll I was thinking about trying to target bass. But if you have suggestions for other species to target I would love the advice. Its getting a little late for shore salmon, no?

my advice for jackson would be for trout and salmon. casino pier and the mouth are good spots. you can probably still chase trout, but i'm pretty sure coho are just about done. wait til early september and fish the mouth for kings. its a good spot. kings are stocked out of jackson and a lot of fish pass through the mouth to return "home" during their spawning fall migration
