got out from 4-7, fished my usual discharge area and the tall reeds. caught 1 crappie!  , i think the wind threw out the fish bite

BUT....

after catching a pumpkin seed and bluegills, it payed off. as i was messing around with little gills, just cause nothing was biting, i noticed a real big flash down in the water
then it hit my bait. it looked to be a big crappie, but he missed my twister. then i saw it again :D , it was a big northern hitting my small bait! so i switched to a suspending husky jerk, and caught the northern on the first cast :D :D :D !

if i can get up the pic on my phone i will, but it might be a while! illl send it to my dad, and he will email it to me
and ill post it

Good job out there switching things up to get the pike! That's always something I like to hear :D Yea if that wind was not blowing into that discharge it could have pushed the fish out.. Or the Pike pushed them out ;)
