I got sum jig heads and when I got home I realialize that theres no hole on them..? Um..are they supposed to be like dat or do i make the hole..?? Wats up. im so confused...

If the stem is there for the hole, but it is solid, take a tooth pick, or
knife and remove the paint. The hole is there, it's just covered in
paint.

Painted jigheads are usually painted shut. I use a jig buster to open them. :wink:

i just use another jig hook to scrape it off and have never had hook set problems with the hooks so it doesnt do any damage

Ok..Did wat u guys told me..dam dat was a lot of scarping..now that I think about it..this was a stoopid question sorry.

a good way and alot easier than scrapping is to take a needle and heat it or a stove or flame the needle will melt a hole and just keep working it till its totally open

Those are all good ideas, but I still like one of these better. It doesn't dull your hooks and you don't risk poking yourself.

I used the jig cleaning tool to clean them up to and it does save alot
of hooks in your fingers :twisted: For the 3 bucks it's well worth it.

I agree with doc and jim. When you do a lot of them, its nice and easy, and doesnt put burs and the eye of the hook. I have one in every box.
