[Fishthoughts]

Went to Axehead around 2:45PM with my girlfriend to enjoy the afternoon. The wind had kicked up and that provided less than ideal conditions. Fished for an hour or so for nothing. I notice a new feature at the lake - several areas along the shoreline have semi-circular stone embankments built out. I guess this would make it easier to cast a line out further into deeper waters?

I was wondering what the constuction equipment and piles of gravel were for! And why the shore was tore up in some spots! It must be for some cement fishing areas.

I was hoping it would be a boat launch. Oh well.
