Throw them in the fridge and they will last awhile. I had a 100 in there last weekend and used them yesterday. Had to toss about a dozen but when ya have 100 that's not bad. They were still alive too. Hopefully I'll have some for next weekend as well.

I keep mine in the fridge also in a bait puck also clean the dead ones out. And never let them freeze while you are out fishing.

JB and Rapman hit it dead on, You can also use oats mixed in with the saw dust... the myth is that they will actually feed on this and sometimes last longer than a couple months if done right and you can end up with some fat juicy spikes...

Yes they will feed on oats.Also heard if you soak oats in food coloring you can change their color we already buy them red and i've seen yellow.EXPERIMENT
