Heading to Lake Delavan Wednesday spending night and depending how we do we might try Geneva Thursday for first time. Just wanted to get some feedback on fishing line recomendations for Geneva. I have been using crystal fireline this year on spinning gear. In some situations I tie a 6ft florocarbon tag to the line. Usually don't do that for bass but with Geneva being so clear would this be a good idea.

Appreciate any feed back or other recommendations for either lake.

I would not go over 6lb. test for bass fishing. Fluoro works great too. Depending on what you are throwing, the lighter line the better. For drop shotting plastics and such, I like 4 lb. Fireline in smoke.
