Got out on the kayak again from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Started off sunny with breezy NW winds 10-15mph - diminishing towards sunset.
So naturally, I headed right back to the spot I caught the muskie a day earlier but wasn't finding any takers of anything. In fact, up until 8:12pm I wasn't finding anything at all. Finally a feisty 17" bass smacked a ShadRap and it would be the only fish for the outing.
Gonna take a few more outings to figure out the intricacies of fishing this lake from boat. I'd love to get into some of those walleye in there. We shall see...
