Heading to Muskegon Friday night.

Any input on shore fishing for salmon or perch?

If not we'll probablt hit either New Buffalo
or Berrien Springs on the way home!

Tough bite.

Had a nice breakfast on the lakefront, then only hooked gobies.

Very nice area, then hiked around the state park.

At least we tried..
No way I could have driven up and not made a few casts..
Even with kids luck no big bites..

Many were trolling right off the pier and breakwall.
Seen boats of varied sizes & gear over the day but no hook ups.
Hoped to see at least one rod bending...

You ever hit Muskegon Lake? I've heard that is a dyamite fishery. Never gotten up there to fish but would like to.
