Sorry for the semi-late post. Thought I had a fairly productive morning at the Glen yesterday morning till I read the boys' report from the 'Goons. Caught two on my jig & GULP! crawler combo within the first 10 casts. One @ 13" & one @ 18". Things slowed, moved and landed one nice 15-16" on a Minus-1 and lost two more as well as missing a nice hit on my jig. Decent success considering the heat. Also got closer than I ever have to a Blue Heron... normally wouldn't post pics of a regular sighting at the Glen, but he let me get within 10 feet of him. Enjoy the pics, and as always, good fishing.

Yeah Gither, she was a beauty... put up a hell of a fight on 6 lb test & a lite-med action spinning rod. Been getting at least one 3lb + fish per outing lately. Also been realizing my morning outings have been much more succesful at the Glen lately over any evening ventures, which was just the opposite earlier in the season. I'm sure it has to do with warmer air temps during the day and the resulting cooler water temps early in the morning as opposed to the end of these warm days.
