Got home yesterday from our tri-annual family retreat. Stopped on the way to check things out at Le-Aqua-Na. It's been closed for over a year. Lake was leaking, silted up & otherwise in horrible condition. The road around the lake was if possible, worse.

They opened it back up in Sept. The road is excellent but the lake is still mostly empty. The creek that feeds it is dry. Unless we get record rains/snows this winter it'll be a while before the lake is full again.

Good to hear. I used to fish there a lot when I was in Boy Scouts years ago, was a nice little lake.

I'm hoping it's full & open for fishing next summer.

We had an annual trip up there when I was a kid. I happened to stop by right as they drained the lake and was looking forward to the reboot. Hopefully it fills up soon and stocking goes well.
