Went out in extreme conditions as far as the wind and somewhat cold we had yesterday. It was tough boat control, but the fishing made up for it. Threw a crankbait along a shorline being pounded by the wind and found one of the nicer bass of the year for me . He was only 18 but his tummy was full of something although pic was not the best ..... my friend Larry came over from his house a door away to snap a pic of the fish. Managed alot of short bass and alot of Crappies in the 11 inch range. The Crappies prefered a plain hook and minnow to a mini mite tipped with minnow about 3 to 1, funny how basic presentations work better sometime. Only out 3 hours cause of the waether , but very productive day.[
