Got out to a couple local ponds this morning with the hope that I could get some greenies, since they have been hard to come by for me as of late. The day started out sunny with heavy wind, and with the rains last night I figured creekmouths and culverts would be the ticket.

I wasnt able to land any greenies but did manage this nice 28-30" pike on a rattletrap. The fish crushed it, as it hit the water. Man those pike can fight! This is the best I could do on peektures cuz I wanted to get her back in asap. Trying to measure and take a peektures of pike alone are hard as hell to do. :?

also got this little guy at another pond before the weather turned sour. on a jig and minnow under a float.
