Took the younguns out to Mallard for the last hour and a half of the day and while they were catching bluegills off the north pier, I hooked into a nice 2-2.5 pound bass on a spinner bait... Measured 16"... Fish rocketed out of the water twice and only had the trailer hook... Off to Shabbona next Sunday... - BPM

Nice fish BPM. Mallard has been surprisingly hitting the last few weeks. My brother was out there yesterday morning before the rains and got a 2 nice bass in the 20 minutes he was there.
