Fishes from 530-745pm yesterday, 5th day of a skunk for me at maple. Ended up losing 3 bass and a 30in or so pike on a charter bait. On the other hand my buddy caught a fat one on a white chatter bait as you see in the pic and one on a shaky head with a black/blue craw.

Curious, are you guys fishing the chatter more like a jig or like a crankbait/swimbait?
Crank/swim. The D&M pirhanna (older model 1oz) work slow bumping off structure. More snags but if you don't mind losing a few, it pays off. Especially when fishing from shore. I fish the Zman half oz or 3/4oz more by shallow water on the east side. These tend to stay higher in the water column and avoid the stumps.
