I heard so many good things about this area so I decided to give it a try. Fished from 8pm -1:30am. The action was pretty good with several bumps. Went 1 for 6. I lost all five right at the edge. My net was not long enough, I was fishing solo and no one was around me so I tried to do a Bassmaster move which was a no no but I have no other choice. All the Kings were small about 2-4# each. If it was a 10+# King I would of been screwed. So I will making modifications to the net tonight.
Caught 2 on a Deep Diving Thunderstick / double jointed in glow and the other hit a Glow Cleo in orange and chart. I also had a second rod in the water with spawn chunks with a float no takers.

Good job out there! A long handled net is a must when fishing for salmon from shore. I have heard of some people extending the handle by going to a hardware store and purchasing a wooden handle and then attaching it to your net handle with a bolt. :wink:

Nice job Legend. And I'm noticing a pattern with the shirt and hat. Must be lucky. I lost my dad's lucky fishing hat. Well actually I got drunk on St. Patrick's day and gave the hat to a bum! That's right I gave my dad's lucky fishing hat to a bum on St. Patrick's day on my way out of a Mexican restaurant. Wow!!! Does that sounded as messed up as it really was? I'm a horrible son!
