Mchenry Dam

any help please

You'll find some reports from the McHenry Dam on our Fox River forum. Danno, Justin, and myself have posted several from the past year.

I personally like to wade that area with jigs and minnows. There are a lot of species of fish there. Nice place to fish.

Go over to Defiance for bass and pike action.

All the years of been to McHenry dam, I don't think there ever has been a place so hit or miss for me. I used to go there a lot when I was younger. There were days when you would catch a lot, esp striped bass and other days where you couldn't catch anything.
