Wow that's a lot of fish. Nice Job. It looks like I wont be heading out tomorrow due to weather. That really sucks, and by the way what did you have on your jig? Good Job.

Got there like at 5 this morning. Fished for like 3-4 hrs in one spot. Caught like 5 (bottom stringer...there's 2 stringers if you look closely). Then, we switched spots, and the top stringer is what we caught in a matter of like 2 hrs, between three of us. Didn't count exactly how many were caught, but I know there's at least 30 fish on the stringer...probably closer to 35 or 40 fish. Easily caught over 50 fish with many dinks, which were thrown back. For bait, we tried minnows for like an hour, but they pretty much produced nothing but dinks, so we switched to jigs and that did the trick. Anyways, here's the pic...

The jig was a 1/16oz jig head with a small plastic/rubber body...basically any crappie jig in green, red, orange, or a combination of the three (like firetiger) will work (for example: Mini Mites). Anything shiny is also fine. Basically any minnow imitation lure or jig will work...you just need something to get their attention.FishingBeast said:Wow that's a lot of fish. Nice Job. i was out at diversey on sunday morning with my dad and got 20 keepers, probably caught close to 100 fish, but only kept 20 or so of the bigger ones. got a couple nice jumbo 11"+ fish and lost a couple of the same size or bigger. report and pics coming after work today
