Probably one of my best days on the river. I honestly lost track of how many I caught, but it was definitely more than ten over the course of around three hours. Mostly pike with a few largemouths. I had the first bite in a matter of minutes on a black in-line spinner, and I didn't have to change lures the entire day. It was the first time in two years that I hooked into a decent sized one, it surprised me with a boatside strike. The water was a tad murky but the fish sure didn't seem to mind. I'll also add my PSA for guys on the board new to pike fishing, please bring a set of mouth spreaders with you! Half the fish I caught would've ended up dead or I would've lost fingers if I didn't have a set.

Add in hook cutters that can actually cut hooks.
Agreed. I carry a pair but have luckily not had to use them yet.

This was also my first outing on the kayak with a net, I don't know what took me so long to finally get one. I found it much easier and safer than hand grabbing or using the boga grips
