I am buying a 9.9 from my neighbor. He is letting me pay it off a little each week. It has been a while since I have been to deep.

Can a use this motor on one of the boats From Jack & Lidias?

I used to go with my father years ago with a 7hp evanrude dad had and was just wondering.

ya, ive seen quite a few people use a 9.9 out there.

Are you sure that is not the manufacturers recommendation? Most 14' boats have a suggested 15hp limit.
