hey guys fished a private pond to start the day i got a very nice crappie on a small jig then it was time for the bass but nothing was working not even golden roaches so i did the impossible threw on a xps popper threw it from a dock rite to the edge of the shore then i started working it i worked it slow because the fish arent used to the water temperatures rising so fast but after three time jerking it i let it sit then jerked it one more time and wammmm!!!! godddd was it awesome it truly changed fishing for me my heart was pumping even know the fish wasnt that big but it was awesome great day

Dude... you're gonna completely have a new outlook on fishing now. Having a fish crash a top water bait is possibly the most exhilarating fishing experience there is.

I have not pursued this technique in a few years, but small PopR style baits are actually killer prespawn lures. I would consider it more of an April technique though when the bass really start cruising the shorelines. I had me some days at Lake Argyle while in college throwing the small Hula Poppers. Thanks for reminding me of an old technique DPR.

i couldnt belive it happened it was just awesome i just couldnt belive it happened i realy think these past 2 weeks i matured as an angler
