We made our annual trip to Vulcan yesterday and had a great day on the water. 20 fish total (19 bass, 1 pike. 10 fish for each of us). Most bass were between 1-3lbs and 2 that were creeping up on 4.
We were on the water by 6:45am and left at 2pm. Weather was perfect. 17 of the bass came on the DropShot. I was using a BioSpawn finesse worm for 8 of my fish and 2 fish (the bigger ones) came on a BioSpawn stick bait rigged on a Moaner Weighted Stroker Hook. They hit it on the fall. All of Jeremy's bass were caught on a BPS Fin-Eke worm (http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-FinEke-Worms/product/103945/)
Colors that worked well were watermelon red flake, copper/green, copper, translucent.
