I recently moved within walking distance of a few of the harbors and plan on fishing them from the shore quite a bit this year. Wondering if anyone experienced with fishing the harbors has any recommendations on a net? Obviously need something long enough to get all the way down to the water, and I would like something durable and good for the fish too. Thanks in advance.

ego nets are on the pricey side but they are comfortable, sturdy and have models long enough to reach the water from the harbor platforms. I'm sure other cheaper brands are out there (I'm predicting you will soon get a few posts of the cheapest possible option)....I personally like getting good stuff so that I'm not stuck worrying about it.

Thanks Bassman. Just ordered one, burned all my Cabelas points in the process.
