Is the fish at NSC safe to eat? I saw a couple mexicans catching some serious cats and carp (beautiful nice sized fish) using hand lines. They put them all in a plastic shopping bag. I asked what they were going to do with them and they said they're going to eat them. They told me they taste good: "Buen Sabor!"

If i'm not mistaken the NSC is still a sewage canal. I still see the occasional condom or diaper floating downstream.

Absoulutly not. There are actually signs that say having the water contact your skin is a no-no. I feel fine though, and I have touched it plenty, muhahahaha.

Just because those guys took them home to eat them does not mean they are smart. Some people just don't know or don't care. I wouldn't touch anything out of any sewage channel.

the water still stright up smells! its a good fishery but, i wouldnt swim or eat anything from it....TGE is right there are scary signs all over the place....not safe for human contact... or dumping zone :?
