YES!!!! Somebody has been listening!

You can rent, but that ended like two months ago, and it is stupid expensive. You can launch your boat, but a launch fee of $15 buck a shot, or @ $50 a season. Also, you can only be out by boat when a 'lake guard' is on duty, which is after 10 or 11 am may through october. Shore fishing is fine, by boat is much better. Honestly, with all the pressure the past few seasons it is not nearly the honey hole it was three or four years ago, but still far better than CCFP lakes IMHO. Good luck!

I paid $18 last year... $10 to launch, and $8 for the NR pass for the day... Worth it though... Caught 4 and 2 of them were really nice... Forget when I posted them though... Was in July or August I think... - BPM

The are so many "Free" options if you live close to Opeka.

If your going to fish from shore.. Fish for free

Just down the road there is:

Axe Head, Beck, Belleau, Busse, The Pond or even the DPR at Sibley

If not... pay the $$ and enjoy your day....your choice

The good thing is that there are so many great choices with in just a few miles of Opeka.
Explore them all..... and enjoy them all
