Hey wow, its been a while since i lasted posted about opeka. Well I now have a summer job and im beginning to fish with mad craw a lot in various different places. Due to this I am making it out to my own backyard now once or twice a week. Well every time i go there i get some bass usually 4-5 between 11-13 inches... not giants but still fun. However two days ago i decided to go in the morning to land the biggest bass on the public side of opeka in my life on my 5th cast. Surprisingly my fish was 19 inches long  however only 3.1lbs.... Whatever still a nice hog from opeka =]

Nice kid! I haven't been out fishing since last time I saw you there!

SkunkedAgain, you can launch a boat there. Technically trolling motors are not allowed, however, they let you use it if no one complains. It's gotta be $15 to launch a day, plus like $5-10 bucks aa day for a fishing pass. Or they have season stuff for both, but I'll sell my season pass for the $20 I paid for it seeing as how I ain't using it.

I will trade you 1 "I Love Niles" bumper sticker, a deflated basketball, and 3 old shoelaces for it. I went there a few times this year and got skunked each time. Since I didn't catch anything but weeds I figured I didn't have to pay a fee. Maybe if I was catching some bigguns I'd break out the dinero. I should bring them a bill for each weed I excavate.
