Debating what type of fluorocarbon line to buy. Im going to put fluorocarbon line on a Abu Garcia Revo SX on a St. Croix Mojo 7'0 rod. It will be used for crankbaits, swimbaits, ect. What pound test do you suggest i was thinkin 17#.

I narrowed it down to two types of lines XPS or P-Line. Im likin P-Line what type of P Line schould I get, theres fluoroclear, premium, and just plain P-Line Fluorocarbon line.

Thanks

Dom,
I wouldn't use 17 lb for cranks. I use 12 lb. I'm not sure about what is optimal for swimbaits. Also, Flouroclear, Premium, and flourocarbon are pretty different. I've never used Premium but Flouroclear is some really sweet line. It has very little memory and its castibility is great. I'd lean in the direction of Flouroclear for crankbaits. I use Flourocarbon just for plactics, jigs, and senko. For fast moving-reaction types baits, I use Big Game. Hope it helps.
