I read on another post that perch come back to the harbors in November... I was curious if this is another perch season like may- mid july with a lot of quantity of perch or is november just a let's give it a try and maybe they're in there type of deal. Would love to have another season even if its cold.

Sweeeeet!!! And i thought i had to wait till the summer. My parents would be happy to hear this seeing as they pressured me to fish at 4am multiple times during the summer so they can eat lunch. p.s. are they at the same locations too? ex) montrose, willamette harbor, etc? and same fishing technique: crappie rig, with minnows? Thanks in advance.

Day after Turkey Day is a big one at Navy Pier.

Watch the winds, as long as the harbor isn't stirred up from east winds it should be good.

Usually I go from sunup to ~9 or 10am.

Haven't heard reports, but I might try this weekend..

Or next..

Sun-Times fishing report said there are no perch coming into the harbors yet. I'd be up for a WCF outing at the lakefront.

Look for the WCF Lake Michigan forum to light up during November with several last minute outings. We had several last year and caught some decent fish. None were the true "jumbo" perch that come along in the summer. But many were of excellent size.

Most of our outings are last minute as we kinda go by the weather. We usually hook up at Montrose around 7pm.
