during the closed season isnt anyone allowed to fish for perch, just not keep them? am i correct because the rules just state no angler over 16 can keep fish.
if DNR sees you with perch type gear, you could get yourself in trouble. in other words, don't target perch unless you're a little kid. even if you are c&r
I agree I would not even bother with perch if you are over 16 DNR dont like to see that and prob will ticket you big. I think in general they dont want a hudge beating taken from perch that month
