PG Report: 8/6/06 .... Warming up
Today I Went out This morning 7:30a.m. until 12:00. to Fish for both Common Carp and Large Mouth Bass a Combination outing that proved successful. Although it was a little difficult to bring everything I use for both species to My Fishing spot, Everything turned out pretty well. I Started fishing for Large Mouth Bass And Targeted them for about 2 hours Catching 10 on Soft Plastics Wading n water about 2 1/2 feet deep. The fish were spotty catching a few every now and then. I'd hook two or three back to back then it would slow a little. When it started to Rain The fish seemed to become really active picking up my plastic while dragging it along the bottom and they would just swim away with it. For Carp I was fishing a current break close to submerged timber the Fish were assorted sizes mostly small ones so was fairly difficult to get a decent hook set but I did manage 8 Common carp the biggest being close to 10lbs but not at or above that.
