Quite a challenge getting crappiies to respond today , thought with the nice warm sun and threat of a storm it would be easy .... no way only managed 6 with this guy being the best of the bunch. Only would hit ice jigs witha demon jig doing most of the damage and a small minnow.Waxies didnt produce a fish.[img

Seem to have my best luck early spring open water crappie with that same set up ice jigs tiped with sm minnow.
