Met up with Doc & clancywiggum for a few hours and fishing was very slow.
Seen Augy on the opposite bank land a nice fish.
Doc & I landed 1 fish each on red rat-l-traps.
nice guys. man that bass felt great! it's my first "real" bass of the season so my estimation may be a little off. i'd say it went around 25 inches and about 12 1/2 pounds.
Yeah, I didn't even get a sniff out there. I stayed for about 2.5 hours throwing rat-l-traps, koppers, red eye shads, and a jig and craw. Nothing. I guess I need a red rat-l-trap. I have crap loads of lures, but not a single red rat-l-trap. So still waiting for my first fish of 2008. I can't even snag a shad out there. Man, I hope Deep is open soon. It's the only lake I have any luck at for bass anymore. :?

I'm sure he doesn't want this made public but bassbilly and I both throw a ton of different lures and had little luck. I landed a dink on a rattling rap, snagged a shad, and had what appeared to be a fairly large bass on for about 3 seconds. Aside from that, nothing. I do feel better knowing that Augy, Culprit, and Doc made there way through prior to our arrival.
