After work I drove to the pond I scouted out a few weeks back and was able to get 45 mins of fishing in before sundown. The panfish action was consistant from the moment I arrived. 2 waxies on an orange tear drop was the key once again. Most of the fish were caught off the bottom but the bigger ones were suspended. I wasn't able to get a pic of the biggest one because of low batt on the camera. It was only about an inch bigger than the larger one below so it wasn't a big deal :D.

I liked the colors on this one.

Nothing huge but a bunch of fun to get out.

Good job on the fish Sean!

That 2nd pic with the nice colors is called a "PumpkinSeed" They are part of the bluegill/Sunfish family as you noticed. Sometimes you can find other pumpkin seeds with different colorations at different times of year. Those are one of the coolest looking panfish In my books! :D That P-Seed looks awesome!!!

You can see in one of my old reports here that this one had some different colorations, but still is a pumpkinseed, I love the little red tag on the ear, looks pretty cool... viewtopic.php?f=31&t=7038

Nice Job Again Sean!
