Hit the local pond for a 2 hrs got 5 bass and a few crappie on minnow here's a couple pics

Hit Shabbona Sunday morning with the wife got about 7 bass all runts on leetches fishing the dam face 12 fow casting toward shore. This was average size

Then found crappie in trees suspended 12 to 16 ft down.. Flat line and slipbobbers on sm minnows.

Looks like a good trip. I like the little areated cooler. Ive got the same lunchbox size igloo, and I think Im gonna do the same thing!

Good job on the bass and crappies. That aerated cooler looks like it comes in handy for keeping the minnows lively. 8)

I came up with the cooler/airator idea a very long time ago. Me and a buddy always use to talk(after a few beers) about making one with the airator built-in and a light when you open the lid. Hey 15 or 20 years later Frabills selling them. Shouda drank more beer together maybe it would have got done. ROFL

It dose work real well make sure you get a quiet airators or the noise will drive you nuts.. Frabill 1423 makes a nice quiet airator. Or buy the Frabill cooler/airator..
