Got out with Samurai for a short trip yesterday. Pond smallies, you ask? Pond smallies, I respond. Samurai got the best one but she flopped from his grip before her photo op. I'd guess her in the 16-17" range. I got the male that was sitting with her. I picked up another dink on the way to the truck.
These are rogue stocked from the Fox, I'd guess. Even the dink I picked up at the last second was probably a placed fish. I don't think they can spawn in a pond such as this. But who knows. They'll certainly try. Such is the nature of fish and men.
