Got out to the lake around 7:00 this morning, set up lines. It was pretty shoulder to shoulder when we got there. Maybe 50 guys out. Saw 1 brown landed on minnows around 8:15.

Other than that. Glassy calm, not much wind, and no biting fish.

Water clarity is bad, brown and maybe 8-12" of visibility.

I'd skip the rest of the day. I think I'll try again Monday.

So did anyone get out there and get a line wet today? Any coho movement as the water settled out a bit?

Fished from 9 to 3 on sat got one 28" coho and guy next to us, they hit almost same time around 1, gettin back this week some time hopefully. My first time actually powerline fishin I'm hooked on it now.

Thats a huge coho, you sure it wasn't a brown or steelhead?

Either way, congrats on the fish and thanks for the info. Looking like a tough week to shore fish because of the cold and waves and wind we're going to have. maybe wednesday.

Quick question, making my own powerlining rig set-up how many hooks can one man have out legally? any help would be cool thanks.

Up to 50. But I'd suggest no more than 25 because more can be really hard to manage when pulling in a fish. I wouldn't want to get 50 snelled hooks tangled in each other... That would be a bad day.

I got out to the wall with my powerline today. Didn't even set up. Chocolate milk with huge waves again. When is this damn spring going to settle down?

I think wed supposed to be better going to try then if nice but thanks for info, thats acually what i was going to try with 25 so thats good to know maybe i'll see u out there.
