I recently went to a large pond in the suburbs with one of my friends who lives by. The pond is full of fairly large bass, bluegills, and crappie. It is private but anyone can really fish there. If someone asks, you can just say you live in the surrounding houses. I personally have never ben asked and hae fished their many a time. Their is a public trail that surrounds it and connects it to two other ponds. Their is also rock stops built for fishing.

Here are the coordinates because directions are rather useless. You can use Google Earth to use the coordinates:

42°13'40.09"N
87°51'2.17"W

A fishing license is required to fish. No boats are allowed though.
