Today I saw a headline of a developer planning to build a brand new $400 billion city in the desert southwest from scratch that will have a population of 5 million folks while they continue to struggle for water out there. You should see what's going on in CA with the water-hogging almond farms. The wells are dry, they are drilling down over 1,000 feet for water, yet the well pipes are collapsing from trying so suck something out of nothing.

Not to mention the warnings of John Wesley Powell in the 1870s. These idiots won't be happy until they drain the Colorado of every last drop. Then they'll be hitting us up for a pipeline to drain Lake MI. Good thing Great Lakes water is subject to a treaty with Canada.
