Quick pond outing 5/18

Did a quick morning pond outing and was met with the worst of the both worlds - some fish are still on the beds (will this spawn ever end?) and the grass is coming out with gusto, with lots of pond scum around. Threw everything - hard, soft, light, dark, natural, slow, fast, deep, shallow, top, bottom, close to the bank, middle of the pond. The bite was non-existent. Eventually found a deeper spot where the dinks were hitting senko on the bottom and avoided a skunk, but it all was a bit frustrating.
