So sad! Where do the years go? I remember when he started his music career and I saw him the first time on TV. Big, long-haired guy, hair and clothes soaked with sweat. Big stage show and Jim Steinman's music. The world had never seen anything like it. One of the biggest selling albums and he went on to sell over 100 millions albums. Wow!

R.I.P. Don Wilson

Don Wilson, co-founder and rhythm guitarist of the instrumental guitar band The Ventures, has died. He was 88.

Wilson died Saturday in Tacoma of natural causes, surrounded by his four children, The News Tribune reported.

The band’s hits included “Walk, Don’t Run,” and the theme song for “Hawaii Five-O.” They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.

Just about every garage band in the day, including ones I was in jammed their song "Wipe Out."

Ian McDonald, King Crimson and Foreigner Co-Founder, Dead at 75

I remember him from Foreigner (especially that sax played like a rhythm guitar on Long Long Way from Home) as I bought Foreigner's first album as a kid. The next 3 albums I had on 8-track. But I never knew that he was in King Crimson first.

Gary Puckett & The Union Gap Co-Founder & Country Songwriter Was 77

I think I saw these guys in Toronto in 1986. It was a festival with the Turtles, Buckinghams and a few other of these similar bands. We wanted to see Phil Collins who was absolutely huge at the time that night, but had to settle for the oldies tour because the Phil Collins show had sold out.

He's the bass player. 'Not sure why the flautist needs a chair to play a flute. Maybe his is really heavy? He does appear to be in pain.

Other than Eddie Vedder and Billy Corgan, are there any original grunge singers left???

R.I.P Bobby Rydell, singer and ‘Bye Bye Birdie' star, dies at 79

No idea who he was. Maker of NFL helmets? Rambler's age...maybe he knows who this was.

He probably beat me. 78 is the age I estimate I will croak.
