I have a question while i was fishing i met another fisherman that was getting skunked. He claimed that because it rained the fish moved somwhere down the river. Is this true? Does rainwater make the fish migrate up or down stream? Its pretty overflowed right now and im getting skunked. Thanks

The depth of the water and subsequently the flow of it as well definitely will play a part in fish location. When the water is higher, fish will be in different locations. Not necessarily up or downstream, but different locations.

Try fishing in creeks that flow into or from the river and in the calm water just to the sides of the heavy current below dams.
