Anyone check out the Wave Cast spinning reel ?It sounds interesting
and is reasonably priced. It got good reviews, but wanted to know if
you guys had any first hand knowledge about them before Iwent out
and bought one.

I heard about this reel,I think Doug Hannon built it, seems like a good deal
I`d stick with the major manufacturers.

Culprit is right, Doug Hannon did develop it. It was voted as the best spinning reel for 2008 in Field & Stream.
